Slingshot RPM 1st views and pics

First impressions of the New Slingshot RPM, is it is looking like it is going to sit pretty squarely between the Rev and the Fuel, the leading edge is still fairly large like the Fuel giving the kite a good solid feel, the struts are very thin, (unlike the Fuel). This makes a joy with the one pump system as it is inflated in next to no time. The leading edge has lost all it's 5 rows of stitching, and has been blessed with what looks like some Kevlar reinforcements all the way along the leading edge. The bridle is one I have never seen before, and looks different but supported the leading edge and tips well. There has been lots of techie stuff written about different settings so I wont go on. The wing tips are large so I guess this baby is going to turn very fast, maybe more from the wing tip than from the center of the kite, so for all those powered up kite loopers will love it, if you don't want to get spanked by the fuel, as the RPM will clearly have more depower than the Fuel. The materials still feel great, typical slingshot quality materials, now I just can't wait for the wind to blow!

Features:
  • Progressive ‘Delta’ shaped canopy: This provides great low end and makes the kite super stable in higher winds. The Delta canopy ensures easy re-launch [even for the novice rider], inflight stability, massive vertical boost, unsurpassed wind range & depower and superb up-wind ability
  • One pump: Slingshot’s leading industry standard in single point inflation
  • Compact bridle: provides in flight stability and eliminates the risk of tangle
  • Tailpipe bridle belts: prevents lines from snagging
  • Mark clothing reinforced trailing edge: reduces flutter and increases durability
  • Ergonomic nipple placement: ensures less overall drag
  • Slingshot legendary construction: bomber quality
  • Lifetime rider hotline membership

F one Bamboo Custom 5'6

Not only are these boards super strong they look sick! Check out the pictures below. Now instock in our store.

The bomb proof wave board, looks absolutly fantastic too and since bamboo grows at an alarming rate its eco friendly aswell. This is a great shape and size for a british waves. Perfect for making that sharp snappy turn. The board is equipped with super soft straps and pads and has the vector II fins. Bamboo is far denser than oak and has better elasticity properties, this makes the board super super strong. 172x45cm

Flexifoil ION 4 IV

Just seen the New Flexifoil Ion 4, this kite is not going to be released till later in the year, but it looks like Flexifoil have taken a lot of notice of the core customer base, the Ion4 has been given a more friendly riding style like the Ion2, it still keeps the fast turning ability of the Ion3, but there has been a real effort to make the kite work with less input. This is great for the rider who is not so interested in handle passes but for the weekend warrior who just needs a friendly kite that is easy to jump, is very stable and above all very well manured even in our terrible Uk gusty conditions. There has been a few more attachment points added to the leading edge to keep the kite feeling tighter in the sky, the last bridle has been shortened so it cannot get trapped under a wing tip. The kite now seems to develop a little more power than previous models size for size. Getting on a smaller kite, with the same power but a fast turning machine, great, what dreams are made of. As per usual the Ion4, has the great flexifol well built construction, and it can be used as a 4 or 5 line kite.
